Elegance Stretched Out Before Your Eyes

Elegance stretched out before your eyes
Caught once again upon the flight deck
Abandoned, but it’s only how we surmise
Feeling perhaps life has become wrecked
Exhausted as if the day has gone to hell
Fate brings you back out to the lonely sea
The Boatswain rings out seventeen bells
It’s dark; lost within your mermaid fantasies
