You Know The Feeling

You know the feeling
You don’t remember what you’re thinking about
You sense something is missing
& you’re racked with constant doubt
That woman is in your dreams
You try, but you’ll never forget her fertile mind
The way she made you feel worthy
The last visions of her fading behind

There Are Answers Out There

vintage-1872682_1920.jpg

There are answers out there in between the pain

Sometimes lurking behind the obvious & the past

Distractions of a most nefarious magnitude

But don’t stall now, the breaths aren’t going to last

Passion Failing All Around Me

love-1706572.jpg

Passion failing all around me
We’re all exposed on the battleground
Hearts breaking wide open
Sketchy footing, leaving the night unsound
Cautiously looking out into the world
I’m safely behind doors & my windowpane
A vicious society who always destroys
Forcing love to wither & die in vain
Cherishing the woman I’ll forever desire
Who wears my great-grandmother’s ring
Upon us to ensure it doesn’t happen here
With her in my arms, I’ll always I’ll cling

Twisting A Thoughtless Sin

wedding-dresses-1486005_1920.jpg

Twisting a thoughtless sin
Fantasies of a transitive meld
The secrets of within
The pleasures she coyly withheld
Standing firm in the shadows
Knowing a subdued dream
The power behind my actions
The vision of a woman supreme

Too Shy To Keep Up The Pretensions

book-bindings-3176776_1920.jpg

Too shy to keep up the pretensions
Crawling instead into the Notebook
The one with the scribbles upside down
Hints & subtractions; death to all the crooks
They’re lurking in the recesses
An obtuse excuse eventually bound to fail
Strength comes in many forms
Even when she tries to hide behind her veil

Dancin’ On The Dew Drops

barefoot-1394847_1920.jpg

Dancin’ on the dew drops
Behind the magic of the unseen
Lettin’ the sun shine through
Another morning light & serene
Duck & dive past negativity
Run free; barefoot on the grass
Soak up all of nature’s joy
I’m gonna go pinch my woman on the ass

I Need To Step Out Of Myself

tree-3067012_1920.jpg

I need to step out of myself
To remove ‘me’ from the equation
To experience this existence
Without it being tainted by my relation
I need to observe without intruding
To evolve from all that I’ve seen
Can I escape a destructive society
Rejecting ‘people’ without being mean
I desperately wish to leave them behind
But I’m afraid its too late to get clean

The Government Wants To Lock Me Up

forest-1245692_1920

The government wants to lock me up
For I don’t fit into their diabolic plans
Turning society into robotic morons
I just can’t continue to work for The Man

Trying to sell us artificial stimulants
Fickle airwaves with their bully pulpit bought
Falsified histories & professional victims
The system wipes us away without any thought

Pharmaceutical conglomerates tell us
Conscience is a personality disorder we can’t shake
Turning our daughters into Stepford Wives
Stealing our minds – hoping we’ll never wake

Corporations in league with the dolt on the throne
Continuously embarrassing the whole of humankind
Whose agenda has a limited number of characters
How the hell is this the best choice we could find

But I won’t succumb to any of their devices
I’ll take my liberty and the happiness I’ve pursued
Rejecting the crooks & ignoring their feigned power
Won’t find me in Nurse Rachet’s line; docile & queued

I can’t live a life that’s so blatantly false & empty
My soul is no longer pristine, but I’m an honest guy
I’m taking to the wilderness; leaving the State behind
I’m trading their promises for a more natural high

Drinking The Spilled Ink

leave-2163257.jpg

Drinking the spilled ink

Anything for a touch of inspiration

The metal nib scratches the paper

Leaving behind unused insinuation

Touting such triumphs to the Heavens

Coming to these waters to galvanize

Words reign down with invigoration

& finally finding absolution within thine eyes

College Magnetic Poetry Vol. 1

I eat her peach, like it was a screaming bed
Rob lathered her pink butt, like I said
She urges me to lick the bare breasts, or no head
They want the mist under the dress, and she is red
I cry, but think those rose petals are like a knife
My woman moans as we fall with spring through life
Smell sweet honey like a purple forest o’ eggs
He sees my finger smear next to the smooth hot leg
Watching two girls waxin’ & milkin’ without you
The gorgeous goddess needs his languid tongue to be true
Deliriously drunk & a repulsive moment recalls an ugly day
I felt the beauty whispering lust, wanting to play
Sweat leaves my apparatus juicy and shiny, always beating it away
Frantic spray floods the luscious garden from behind
Trying to swim beneath a language o’ an elaborate mind
Winter crushes drool over lovely eyes
On top, producing no sleep as we lie
Together, eternity is an essential chain
Manipulating me through bitter rain
Mothers can ask to stop, but still get to blow
I pound your fluff and then must go
Getting shot in some hair is easy when you are not above
Shadows o’ their enormous size is what you vision and love

Circa 1998

*Author’s Note: I feel I should explain this mess. It was written in college on a buddy’s fridge with the non-x-rated magnetic poetry. It is horribly juvenile and I love it all the more for that reason.
